FRIENDS OF MOUNT ATHOS: PILGRIMAGE 2023

This eight-day pilgrimage provided an excellent introduction to the Orthodox
monasteries of Bulgaria. The local guide, a professional archaeologist,
opened many doors that would otherwise have remained closed. An eclectic
band of pilgrims greatly enjoyed each other’s company and are already
looking forward to next year’s trip, probably to North Macedonia.
