∙St Bride Foundation, London∙

All members of the Friends of Mount Athos and their guests are invited to attend a Vasilopitta
Party, a traditional Greek New Year celebration at which the Saint Basil’s cake is cut. This
year it will take place on Tuesday 16 January 2024 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at St Bride
Foundation, 14 Bride Lane, Fleet Street, London EC4Y 8EQ. The Vasilopitta Party is one of
our major social events and we look forward to welcoming as many members and guests as
possible.

This will also be the occasion for the launch of the society’s most recent publication,
“Pilgrimage to Mount Athos”, edited by Graham Speake. Copies will be on sale at a
discounted price and Graham will be there to sign them.

As this is a charity event, once your place has been reserved the price will not be refundable.
The prices will just cover the event and so as to encourage as many of you as possible to
come, we are keeping them the same as previous years. Places cost £30 each (£20 for
students) and can be reserved with the FOMA Treasurer, Peter Stevenson, on
p.stevenson696@btinternet.com,
