The Sixth Madingley Conference -- Preliminary Announcement
Spiritual Guidance on Mount Athos
8 – 10 March, 2013

Madingley Hall is a grand seventeenth-century country house 3 miles west of Cambridge. It belongs to the university and serves as a designated conference centre. With its 50 single rooms and 13 shared rooms (all with en-suite facilities) it provides comfortable accommodation for up to 76 delegates as well as ample car parking in its 7-acre grounds.

The Friends of Mount Athos have decided to return to Madingley for a sixth conference in March 2013. Between dinner on Friday 8 March and lunch on Sunday 10 March there will be a series of talks devoted to Spiritual Guidance on Mount Athos. All the speakers have an intimate knowledge of their subject and are keen to make it accessible to a broadly based audience.

The speakers will be:
Andreas Andreopoulos     Sr. Seraphima
Metropolitan Kallistos of Diokleia     Sr. Theoktisti
Frs. Kirill & Methodiy     Bishop Alexander Golitzin
                                                    Hieromonk Philotheos

There will be a framework of Orthodox church services which the non-Orthodox will be welcome to attend.

For details, including information on cost (including registration, accommodation, all meals) and reservations, please see the Reservation Form.

Since the number of places is strictly limited, persons wishing to attend are advised to make a reservation as soon as possible. The conference is also open to non-members. (Bursaries are available)
